Joel Bryant plays Tom Parker in Welcome to Sanditon.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Joel has called LA home since graduating from Pepperdine University with a BA in Theatre. He’s been blessed to work in many mediums including FILM: The Heartbreak Kid, Jack the Reaper, Valkyrie, Baby Blues, Loaded, Music Within, Ashes, the upcoming Wrong Cops; TELEVISION: 2013 NBC pilot Bloodline and currently-in-development pilot Hillers alongside Henry Winkler, and Guest Star turns on Harry’s Law, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, Monk, The Defenders, Eleventh Hour, Incredible Crew; THEATRE highlights: Marc in ART and Ben Hecht in Moonlight & Magnolias (Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities), Hamlet, Orlando in As You Like It, Francis Flute in Midsummer Night’s Dream (Texas Shakespeare Festival), RP McMurphy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Hudson Theatre), Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire (Coachella Valley Rep.), Lysander in Midsummer Night’s Dream (Knightsbridge Theatre), Guido in Monna Vanna (Stella Adler Theatre), Kafka in Words, Words Words and Charles in Mere Mortals (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), BB in the world premiere of Terminal Cafe with Neil Patrick Harris (Popejoy Hall); NEW MEDIA: Streamy-nominated Best Actor for After Judgment, regular on Welcome to Sanditon, Save the Supers and is co-producer/”Mac” in the award-winning web series Suck and Moan.

Having started stand-up at the age of 17, he’s been blessed to perform in many venues including The Comedy Store, Flappers, The Improv, a national tour, college and corporate shows and, trained in improv at The Groundlings, he formed the award-winning comedy duo “Deven & Joel” with his wife Deven Green. Together they have performed all over the US and Canada, for the troops in the Middle East, and headlined numerous charity fund-raisers, prisons (!) and corporate events.

He dedicates every performance to Deven, his partner in comedy, love and life.
