Another exciting and insanely busy VidCon is behind us. It was great seeing some of our fans at our booth in the main hall, and at our signing sessions and panel discussion. Check out pictures of the event on our Facebook page.

The panel discussion on Saturday gave us the opportunity to make some announcements about the future of Pemberley Digital. To get everyone else up to speed, here’s the latest news.

frankenstein-logo-final-061914-OUTLINEFirst off, we have a new logo for “Frankenstein M.D.,” our newest web series with PBS Digital Studios, which will premiere sometime in August. Next month will also see “Emma Approved” reach the end of the book storyline – but not necessarily the end of the show.

People attending the panel got a sneak peek at some great behind-the-scenes moments, like Christopher Sean and Paul Stuart‘s off-key rendition of “Maybe I Can,” and a clip of Daniel Vincent Gordh and Ashley Clements goofing off between takes of the LBD bonus videos. These clips and more will soon be available on our new “Pemberley Digital 2” YouTube channel, which will feature outtakes, interviews, announcements and other extra footage.

The “Lizzie Bennet Diaries” DVDs were for sale at VidCon and can now be ordered from DFTBA. And as you might have heard, “The Lizzie Bennet Diaries” and “Emma Approved” are now available on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Xbox Video, Nook, CinemaNow, Vudu and Google Play.

So why buy these shows on one of these platforms when they’re available on YouTube? Basically, for the same reason you’d buy the DVDs. Starz Digital Media has repackaged the episodes into 15-20 minute installments that you can download and watch on your mobile device or connected TV, with or without an Internet connection. You’ll also get access to behind-the-scenes material, such as blooper reels and interviews with the cast and crew.

For now, the Lizzie Bennet material includes the main 100 episodes and the bonus material is the same selection of features included in the DVDs, but it’s possible that Starz will roll out new material in the near future. “Emma Approved Seasons 1 and 2 (months 1 through 6) plus a blooper reel are currently available, and new episodes from Season 3 will be released the Friday after they go live on YouTube.

Thanks again to our fans for coming to see us at VidCon. We hope to see many of you at LeakyCon in a few weeks.
